Chalk the Zoo
At Utah’s Hogle Zoo
Art lovers unite. Hogle Zoo recently provided a treat for visitors over a three day period by way of chalk artists. This is an annual event at Utah’s Hogle Zoo. Rachel visited the zoo on Friday to get a look at the artists setting up and starting their pieces. She then revisited the zoo on Monday to take a look at the finished works of art.
While she tried to find all of them on the first day, she must have missed a few, or they hadn’t started just yet when she visited. The Acara and Weila art above are one of those she didn’t get to see started and was thrilled to find it.

What did you think? Which was your favorite? Rachel is torn between the seal and the elephant for her favorite. She was impressed by each piece. Not to mention, the temperature was hot, hot, hot during the three days these artists were at work.
